The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly happening.
