19 of Medvedev's twenty-one championships have been won on hard courts
A resurgent the Russian player secured his initial title for 882 days with success over opponent Moutet in the competition championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- top-ranked player, has endured a difficult season, managing just a single victory at the big events and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
His inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in specific - led to him exiting of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-term mentor Cervara.
Currently working with Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This represents the player's first championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court since that period of that year.
Victory also means Medvedev has won twenty-one victories at twenty-one various events.
"For the first time I am participating in a tournament with my children together, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my child Victoria, because the maiden victory I achieved when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six finals, including in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's counter-punching strategy and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his ability to play at the top level was concluded.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in recent weeks, attempting to come to the net and compete aggressively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
He recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the difficult opponent, winning 4 of the concluding five games to go ahead.
The competitors swapped break points in the middle set before the challenger, striving for his initial ATP Tour victory, seized the initiative to force a third set.
Moutet saved 4 early opportunities in a competitive deciding set before the champion secured a break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, the winner secured the title with a point at the net area, with Moutet unable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
